While many organizations are shifting to virtual events, the Washington Cyber Roundtable has made a conscious decision to instead reschedule our spring programing to the summer months, which we typically take off. Our organization’s trademark is candid conversations about cybersecurity issues that are critical to national security. Hosting events virtually would dilute the substance of our discussions and stifle the fruitful dialogue we enjoy in an intimate face-to-face setting. We adore technology, but also recognize its limitations.
We remain optimistic that we will convene again in June for a roundtable event on the role of undersea cables in cybersecurity and will send invitations once there is more certainty around the current situation.
